Movin’
Well, it was great while it lasted, but Tarah and I are in the process of picking up house and home and finding another place to land. Our landlord is selling the house that we have thoroughly enjoyed. I am having a difficult time having to make the move after only living here for just 6 months. Tarah, however, is taking it in stride. She’s taking charge, determined to find another great place for us to live here in California.
House hunting is always an ordeal, whether you are renting or buying. Prices, quality, location, you see such an array of offerings. However, none has been more telling of the area we live in then the listing below. Please join us in utter amazement:

It has everything a home has…full bathroom, kitchen (with fridge, hot plate, microwave, sink, cabinet & counter space), high-speed internet connection, DirecTV, wood-burning fireplace, ceiling fan, shelves and other storage, front deck (BBQ & patio furniture not included), laundry on site, parking, gardener.
The yurt is located in Mission Canyon and has beautiful mountain views.
We’d be willing to have either a single person or a couple live in the yurt. Rent would be $1200 for single occupancy or $1300 for double.
All utilities are included in the rent (DirecTV, high-speed internet, water, electricity, gas, trash etc…)
Sorry, no pets.
Deposit is $500 and we are looking for someone who is willing to stay at least 6 months.
If you’ve never seen one of these before, this is a yurt. A yurt is a circular structure on an elevated wood frame with latice walls, and a skylight at the top. The entire upper area of the structure is completely open. The frame is covered with a weathertight fabric and resists all the elements. You’ve got to see it! I don’t have pictures of the interior, but try looking one up online!
