Christmas with the Goodwins
Our 2500 mile journey’s halfway point lands us with Tarah’s family in Happy Valley, OR. And “happy” it is! We are enjoying our time with Bob and Raylene and exchanged gifts two days early as a family to accommodate everyone’s Christmas schedules.
Chad and Cortney invited us all over for a Christmas dinner at their house last night, which was wonderfully decorated by Courtney, who just so happens to be the CEO of Nesting-Insticts (www.nesting-instincts.com).
Our two nieces, Kinsley and Leila, are getting so 
big. The “Black Butte Baby,” (Kinsley’s infamous summer vacation attitude) doesn’t even seem to have any “Black Butte” in her anymore. Remarkable. She’s got such a personality now and seems to enjoy everyone and everything.
