We Welcome Rice Cereal
Kaden has graduated to rice cereal. He loves it! Which is good,
because dad is going to be playing an increased feeding role with
mommy going back to work.
He weighed in this week just over 16 pds. He’s a chunker alright.

New Vids!
I’ve been bad about posting and creating videos lately, so I’m trying to make it up to you. . .
Now this last video isn’t Kaden, but its way cool. This is little B ringing in the new year!

You Decide: Who’s cuter?
I promised I would get another post up to one of our loyal readers and
I know I haven’t shared this photo yet of our little man and little
Bootie. He’s growing up so fast. He’s basically sitting up on his
own now. He’s rolled over on his own a couple of times. We’re
working on more tummy time to catch him up, but he is solid enough to
be riding in the cool backpack that Uncle Nick and Aunt Jenn got us.
I’ll have to send that picture once I download it.
We just introduced rice cereal to him yesterday and he LOVES it. We
think it also helped him sleep through most of the night which was
great.
He’s growing up so fast. . .we need to take more pictures!
Blessed we are.

Mama’s boy
I love this picture of Tarah and Kaden. We were having coffee with
friends on Saturday morning and he was just hanging out listening to
what everyone had to say. He eventually got fussy, but this photo
pretty much captures him trying to get into the conversation.

HAPPY NEW YEAR from the Rose Parade!
A cold first morning to ring in the new year down here in southern California. Its not often that the our truck warns me that its only 39 degrees, but it did on our way to Pasadena for the Rose Parade. Attending the Rose Parade is really work for me, but its fun work and I get to bring other people with me. Last year Tarah and I went and we didn’t even know Kaden was coming (and he was) and this year he sat in our lap. Pretty amazing! He’s conked out in this picture, but he woke up just in time for all the colorful floats.
In general, I think most people are glad to see 2008 end and look optimistically to what a new year might bring. I’m not sure 2009 is looking much better, but for us, 2008 was a special year. Tarah’s pregnancy brought her and I even closer as we prepared for our little man. Kaden is a true blessing, a great little baby. Tarah and I both enjoy what we do for work, love where we live and enjoyed all of the visits we had from friends and family (we had guests stay with us at least once each month! We love that).
If any of you are looking for a fun place to visit in 2009, call us!
Here’s to 2009! May God richly bless you and your family.
